Happy Friday

This morning, in the dark and cold winter, I took Emma to the bus. As we waited in the warm car, we saw a friendly visitor to the bus stop, a big brown lab thrilled to find a collection of kids clearly just waiting for him! He boisterously greeted them and when the bus pulled up, he climbed on! Emma said he was really friendly, crawling onto laps. He must have thought he'd hit the jackpot, he'd just go to school with all these kids! It was the most enthusiasm I've ever seen at a high school bus stop at 7 a.m., although it also was the hairiest enthusiast.
